Fencing Coach Honored

Colonel Anton Diettrich, fencing coach at Dartmouth, recently received the highest award ever bestowed upon an American fencer when he was presented a certificate of merit from the Amateur Fencing League of America. So far as is known, Colonel Diettrich is the only individual ever to be honored in this signal manner. The certificate was awarded on the basis of fencing ability, education, character, personality, and fencing experience.
