President Hopkins has a full schedule of out of town engagements during the early part of March, with a group of addresses scheduled at several alumni association meetings. He will speak briefly at a luncheon sponsored by the Dartmouth Club of New York to be held at the Bankers Club, 120 Broadway, March 6 at 12:30. This will be followed by the meeting of the Westchester Alumni Association on the same evening, when a dinner will take place at the Gramston Hotel, Bronxville, at 7 o'clock. The Alumni Association of Northern New Jersey will entertain Mr. Hopkins as honor guest the following night at the Essex Country Club at West Orange.

President Hopkins will be the chief speaker at the annual meeting and dinner of the Boston Alumni Association at the Chamber of Commerce on March 11. C. R. Cabot '12, president of the Boston Association, will preside, and W. J. Bingham, supervisor of athletics at Harvard, will also be a speaker.

On February 27 the President spoke at a meeting of the class agents of the Har- vard Alumni Fund in Boston. The usual March meetings of the class agents of the Dartmouth Alumni Fund have not yet been announced.

Other out of town engagements during February took Mr. Hopkins as far as Cincinnati, where he addressed the Commonwealth Club on February 24. His subject was "The Responsibility of Education in the Modern World." The Commonwealth Club is composed of civic leaders. Other February trips were made to New York on February 6 and 7 for meetings of the "Executive Committee of the National Economy League and of the Board of Overseers of the Thayer School, and to Nashua, N. H., on February 17 to address the Nashua Men's Club.
