We have received a fine little essay entitled "An Apology for Book Collecting" by H. West. It is published in pamphlet form as No. 2 of The Arts Chapbooks (Hanover), and its subheading describes it as "Being Random Reflections together with an account of London Bookmen in their Native Haunts." Any bibliophile in the class would be intrigued by its contents. The author, by the way, was in the finals of the Harvard Graduate School squash tournament.
