The new Beta Theta Pi fraternity house on Webster Avenue was opened for occupancy upon the return of students from spring vacation. Built on the Georgian Colonial plan with unstained cedar woodwork throughout, the new house accommodates 28 occupants and contains such modern features as a special built-in ventilating system, built-in chiffoniers and clothes cabinets, and indirect lighting. A photographic mural of Old Dartmouth Row in the main hall features the interior decorations.
The official opening for student and alumni members of the fraternity will take place during Commencement.
