A freshman class of 707 men, the largest ever to enter Dartmouth, is included in the total undergraduate enrollment of 2407 for the current academic year. The total represents a gain of 72 students over the registration figure given out at approximately the same time last year.

This year's entering class contains 40 more men than that of last year. Eight transfers added to the freshman figure make a total of 715 new students in College.

Enrollment in the three upper classes this year is 32 greater than that for 1933-34. The senior class contains 530 men, an increase of two; the junior class 545, an increase of is; and the sophomore class 625, an increase of 18.
