New Freshman Post

C. Dean Chamberlin '26 has assumed the new position of Assistant to the Dean of Freshmen, and will aid Dean Strong this year in personnel work and advisory conferences with members of the first-year class. The position was newly created by the Dartmouth trustees at their annual June meeting.

Mr. Chamberlin, who has been connected with the Department of English for the past five years, is also director of public information for the Dartmouth Athletic Council and will devote most of his time to that work during the fall season.

President of Council Carl F. Woods '04 of Boston will head Dartmouth Alumni Council this year. Dr. Arthur H. Ruggles 'O2 of Providence is vice-president and Sidney C. Hayward '26 of Hanover is secretary-treasurer.
