Dartmouth Night
December 1934

President Hopkins has announced, following a conference with Palaeopitus, that Dartmouth Night will this year be celebrated on Wednesday, December 12. A great student gathering, at which the President will be the principal speaker, will be held in Webster Hall. Alumni clubs throughout this country and in foreign countries will gather on that night to turn their thoughts to Hanover and the College.

Assisting Palaeopitus in the celebration of Dartmouth Night will be the President's last public appearance in Hanover before sailing for several weeks abroad. He and Mrs. Hopkins will spend the Christmas vacation with their daughter, Ann, who is studying in Italy and France this year. They will also visit Edward Tuck '62 at his Monte Carlo home, when the greetings of alumni, as expressed at Dartmouth Night meetings, can be given to him by the President.
