The secretary is informed that John F. McDonald had a large hand in the recent election of a mayor for Boston. Mac- has been an influential figure in Boston politics for many years and has done much for the cause of good government. Mayor Mansfield is evidently well sponsored.

Rev. George Sherman Mills, D.D., has completed his interim pastorate at Mansfield, Ohio, and is now visiting for a time at the home of his son and family in Cleveland. His son Charles, also a graduate of Dartmouth, has a fine position as a teacher in Cleveland.
