Thank you one and all for your very nice Christmas cards. And, yes, Jack English, don't you know better than to think that your wife may be wrong?

The state of Massachusetts this month holds the honors for those in the engineering field. And, by the way, who won the annual Tuck-Thayer School game when Dave Shumway captained the latter and Cliff Bean the former? Of course that has nothing to do with the news of this issue. But in West Chelmsford John Monahan resides, and is building roads when the money is forthcoming and the weather willing. In Wakefield after many years of traveling Louie Gove has established his own engineering concern. While in North Wilmington we find Ed Lawson following the studies that he pursued in Thayer.

Lawyers are spread all over. Here are a few that we have not heard from in a long time. Paul Wadleigh keeps his office (open we hope) in Lynn, Mass. In the Tremont Building in Boston there is a firm known as A. K. Cohen and Max Bernkopf. Max to make the partnership more solid married his partner's daughter, and now his partner has a granddaughter who is 11 years old. Then there is Vic Porter, who has a practice in the same city at 7 Water St. You Boston men had better copy these addresses. Norm Brundage practices in Orange, N. J., Jim Burke in New York City, and Red Kimball in Pittsburgh.

Dan Olson is an accountant for I. B. Kleinart Company of 45 Bergen Place, New York City, but manages to keep up his reading doing his daily double to and from Red Bank, N. J., the site of the Olson homestead. Some of the others professing the accounting business as theirs—Art Barak of Detroit and Hollis Nickerson of Winchester, Mass.

When last heard from Bill Hale was still alive in China. Is with the American Asiatic Underwriters in Shanghai.

Howard Buffington in Springfield, Mass., and Frank Osborn in La Porte, Ind., are both in the insurance business. Stan Lyman combines real estate with his insurance and has his own business in Minneapolis, Minn. Herb Comstock finds that real estate in New York City does not require the additional labor of insurance.

Val Goldthwaite is a member of the firm of Dillon Reed Cos. of 28 Nassau St., New York, N. Y. This company, as you know, is an investment banking outfit.

Our one and only big butter and egg man from the West—Gerold Vergil Rector. One of the principals of the Fairmount Creamery Company of Omaha. Has threatened to travel this way some time but not yet. Remember the invitation is still there, Verg—"Come up and see me some time."

Irv Wolff now lives in Merchantville, N. J. His connection is with the RCA Victor Company, Inc., of Camden, N. J, His title—physicist.

Chris Salmonsen is still in Rumford, Me. Is now assistant superintendent of Oxford Paper Company. Happily married or just single—l do not know—do you?

Robert Townsend has retired from the consular service of the United States and has retreated to Maine, Damariscotta (if you can say it and it locates him for you), to do some writing.

Lymie Perkins is still wearing out his own shoes selling his shoe factory's products to other people. Still sticks to Watertown, Mass., as his headquarters. 33 Bates St., if anyone is looking for some samples.

D. D. Linehan is located in Mechanicville, N. Y. Is married and has one son and one daughter. Is employed by West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company as one of their chemists.

John McAuliffe is practicing golf indoors this winter so that he will be in shape for the annual Boston party next May. Still living on his income.

Don Hosmer is a teacher of modern languages in the East Orange High School, and he and his wife live at 68 Fulton St. of that same New Jersey city.

Did you know that Doc Wyman was practicing medicine at Westhampton Beach, Long Island—that Ed Cunningham was a doctor located at 590 Franklin Ave., Brooklyn—that Van Wethey went only as far as Enfield, N. H., to put to work his doctor's degree, and that George Paine is a doctor in Hutchinson, Kansas? Well, you do now.
