ED CURTIS has been made manager of the Kankakee Investment Co., Inc., at Kankakee, Ill.

ABE PRESCOTT has completed his study of osteopathy and opened an office at 435 Commonwealth Building, Denver, Colo. He is a recent graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathy and Surgery.

CARROLL SWEZEY announces that he will carry on the unlisted business formerly conducted by the firm of Swezey, Topliff, & Company. His office is at 43 Broadway, New York.

News stories covering JOE BREWER'S election to the presidency of Olivet College continue to pour in to the secretarial desk. All are optimistic about the future of this Michigan college under its new leadership.

Outstanding in the legal profession is the accomplishment of former class president NEWTON. He spent all of 1932 in the Paris office of White and Case, principally on foreign loans, frozen credits, and French bankruptcies. He was back in their New York office in 1933, and resigned from the firm in February of this year to form the firm of Donovan, Leisure, Newton, and Lumbard. The plans for this new partnership originated back in 1926, when Colonel Donovan was in the Department of Justice and the other three members were in the New York federal district attorney's office. Carl reports a son born June 8, 1933.

Not to be outdone by New York, Twenty can report a fine attendance at the Boston dinner to Dean Laycock. There were so many in fact that BINGO WHITAKER broke bread with the class of '89, being the overflow from two full tables. Among those present were the following: BILL SULLIVAN, RALPH SUNERGREN, recently married, Doc FIPPHEN, CHARLIE CRATHERN, GEORGE MACOMBER, Lawyer ART THOMSON, FRANK MOULTON, BENNIE AYRES, ROG POPE, ROC ELLIOTT, our long-time and efficient treasurer, KEN SPALDING from way out in Southbridge, SHRIMP HALE, SCOUT LEE, the brothers RICHTER now both Bostonians, BUNNY HARVEY, FRANK DORNEY, and CHARLIE SARGENT, who in the Secretary's absence was good enough to report the event. Charlie and wife went to Hanover on the recent B & M Snow Special and had a great time.

ALMUS RUSSELL has deserted the educational field to become director of land use research, New Hampshire State Planning Board, with headquarters at Concord.

Secretary, 774 Great Plain Ave. Needham, Mass.
