A huge "North Country Fair," planned as a social highlight for the entire countryside around Hanover, will be held in Alumni Gymnasium on the afternoon and evening of April 13, for the benefit of Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Ernest Martin Hopkins heads the general committee of the Hospital Auxiliary which is sponsoring the Fair.

A varied program will include a costume ball, one-act skits by The Players, a sportsman's show, an auto show, and numerous booths, exhibits, and forms of entertainment. A Hollywood motif in decorations and costumes has given this first Fair the sub-title "Hollywood Holiday," and the best impersonations of screen celebrities will be rewarded with prizes. The ball, with music by the Green Serenaders, is expected to be the grand climax to an all-day series of entertainments. A special program for school children will be presented in the afternoon.

The committee in charge of the North Country Fair includes Mrs. Hopkins, general chairman; Sidney C. Hayward, secretary; Max A. Norton, treasurer; and Mrs. W. A. Eddy, Mrs. E. B. Hartshorn, Miss Isabelle Lewin, Mrs. M. F. Longhurst, Adelbert Ames, Warner Bentley, R. C. Rood, and Rolf C. Syvertsen.
