Sociology Bulletin

VOLUME 1, NUMBER 1 of the Sociology prepared by the Department of Sociology and distributed last month to all sociology majors from the Class of 1946 up to the present, is Dartmouth's newest publication. The mimeographed bulletin covers faculty and departmental news, contains brief reviews of new books in the field of sociology, and discusses some general developments in the field. The first issue devoted its opening section to tributes to Professor McQuillan DeGrange, who retired in June after serving on the sociology faculty for 26 years.

It is planned to issue the Bulletin periodically. Sociology majors prior to the Class of 1946 will be placed on the regular mailing list if they will send their names and addresses to the Department of Sociology
