Secretaries Meet

The Dartmouth Secretaries Association will convene in Hanover on May 11 and 12 for its thirtieth annual meeting.

The first session will begin at 2:30 Friday afternoon in the 1902 reading room of the Baker Library. The second business session will be held in the library at 9:30 Saturday morning. In the afternoon secretaries will be guests at the track meet with Harvard or may take advantage of Hilton Field for golfing.

At 4:30 Friday afternoon President and Mrs. Hopkins will entertain the secretaries at an informal tea and reception to which the wives of secretaries are also invited. One of the features of the meetings will be the dinner to be held at 6:30 Friday at Stell Hall at which the speakers will include President Hopkins, Dean Laycock, and Coach Blaik.

President of the Association Warren C. Kendall '99 will preside over the business meetings which will include the following speakers: John F. Conners '14, president of the Connecticut Alumni Association; Dean Robert C. Strong '24, Director of Admissions; Carl F. Woods '04, Alumni Councilor from New England district; Allan M. Cate '20, Alumni Councilor from the Secretaries Association; Clarence G. McDavitt '00, president, Athletic Council; Sidney C. Hayward '26, editor the ALUMNI MAGAZINE; and Albert W. Frey '20, business manager of the MAGAZINE. There will also be a number of committee reports including class records.
