To his great surprise and delight, when Secretary Merrill was spending a few days this summer in his native town in New Hampshire, he found that Jack Nutt had chosen the same place for his summer residence. Jack had already connected with the chief justice of the Supreme Court of New Hampshire, in the near-by suburb of Keene. The result was that these three representatives of the class of '94 gathered one afternoon on the golf course. The Chief Justice led in every way. This gentleman does not walk around the golf course. He almost runs—and so he led the ortheopedic surgeon and the Secretary on a merry chase. There was a fourth man who tagged 011 still further behind, and who marveled at the way the '94 boys fraternized.

The fishermen of the class will be interested to know that our vice-president, Dr. Fred P. Claggett, was in New Brunswick a while ago and inveigled a seven-pound salmon to the shore and brought it home with him. Doubtless he will be ready to answer inquiries as to the how and where-fore. Harry B. Metcalf '93 is the authority for this fish story.
