THE FIFTY-FIFTH OF 1881
Ten of the class were present for this event: Adams, Balch, Dewey, Greeley, Herrick, Little, Maynarcl, Mclntire, Snow, Trowbridge. There were also with us Mrs. Adams, Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Balch, Mrs. Dewey and R. M. Dewey, Mrs. Greeley and B. N. Greeley, Mrs. Maynard, Mrs. Mclntire, Mrs. Trowbridge. All ten were present at the formal class supper, and the whole nineteen except Herrick at an informal class dinner. Herrick had been delayed that he might receive the degree of Doctor of Science from Western Reserve University, with which institution he has been connected since 1888.
We enjoyed it immensely, feeling it to be the best yet. And we were truly, if it is ourselves who say it, a genuinely vigorous group of men. We plan a sixtieth, Why not!
