We can think of no better way to begin the notes for this issue than to recommend that each member of the class subscribe to the ALUMNI MAGAZINE.

Stevenson, as business manager, is directly concerned in increasing the subscription list, and we can back Stevie by signing on the dotted line. With the MAGAZINE always giving more than value received, it will prove a good investment. Talk it up with those classmates that you happen to know are not at present subscribing. To further this work, special agents have been appointed in each class. Art McClary is serving again this fall, and his address remains unchanged:—45 East Main St., Malone, N. Y.

The Loan Fund committee, namely, L. R. Chamberlin, Day, and Donnelly, held a meeting in September at Chamberlin's office. Ways and means concerning the application of the Fund were discussed, and you will hear more of this later.

It is gratifying to report that Fred Chase, although unable to attend his office duties, is greatly improved in health and expects to be out and around as usual in the near future.

Fred's family is somewhat scattered. Hugh is at Cambridge University, England, for two years of special work. Bob is at Hanover. Edith made her debut September 15 at a luncheon given by Mrs. Chase at Wayside Inn, Sudbury. She was graduated from Milton Academy in June, spent the summer at the Holland Lake Ranch in Montana, and entered Smith College this fall.

Priscilla, daughter of Winslow and Mrs. Peirce, also made her debut in September at a luncheon given by her parents at their home in Portsmouth, N. H. Priscilla was graduated from the Lee School and is now at Smith.

I had a brief but interesting chat with Harry Peyser recently, and found him just the same except that he is aging a little round the temples. He reports that Frank was graduated from Harvard Law in 1935 and is now associated in the general practice of law with Conrad Snow, Rochester, N.H. Virginia, Wellesley 1935, is connected with one of the purchasing departments of Jordan Marsh Company, Boston. Richard is at Hackley School, Tarrytown, N. Y., and is to enter Dartmouth in the fall of 1937.

Returns on the class dues have been coming in steadily through the summer, but there are still a few counties to be heard from before complete tabulation can be made.
