W. E. Chamberlain, Chase, Day and Lillard attended the dinner of Casque and Gauntlet, which was held January 8 at the Copley Square Hotel in Boston, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the society. Lafayette Chamberlin was a guest of honor as the official representative of Dragon. Rufus was one of the principal speakers of the evening, and ran true to form, as always, making a Very interesting address. He also spoke at a luncheon of the Cornell Alumni Association the same day.

George and Mrs. Proctor are planning a month's recreational trip to the West Coast, leaving about February 15 by boat vw the Panama Canal. Those "sun-kist" golf courses that Jim Donnelly tried out last year and told George about must be pretty good!

It was a pleasure to see Lew Wallis at my office recently, not once but twice. Lew still conducts his summer camp for boys at Lake Winnepesaukee, which he started twenty-five years ago. He anticipates another good season this year, and has plans in mind regarding possible "extension courses," so to speak.

The annual dinner of the Boston Alumni Association at the Copley Plaza Hotel, January 27, was a most pleasant evening in all ways, except that we wish more members of the class might have been present. Chamberlin, Donnelly, Hatch, Lillard, Loder, Proctor, Reid, Stevenson, Wilkins, and Harding were there. Wallis was detained at the last minute. Day and Grover sent regrets and regards.

Recent changes of address are those of George Hersam, West Lebanon, Me.; and Wayland Dorothy, Enfield, N. H.
