As part of the most extensive spring trip it has made in years, the Dartmouth Musical Clubs will appear, during the first four davs of April, in Washington, D. C., At- lantic City, N. J., Montclair, N. J., and Albany, N. Y. After opening their tour at Manchester, N. H., on March 27, the Clubs broadcast over a N.B.C. hookup from New York on March 30, and on March 30 and 31 made a movie short in New York.
The Musical Clubs group consists of 48 men, ten of whom play with the Barbary Coast Orchestra under the leadership of Malcolm W. Rowell '36 of Newport, N. H., and the remainder of whom sing in the Glee Club under the direction of Professor Donald E. Cobleigh '23 and Charles A. Lehman '36 of Williamsport, Pa., the student leader. The latter group includes the College Quartet as well as specialty artists who play the xylophone, accordion, and piano. Undergraduates in charge of the Musical Clubs' spring trip are Albert L. Gibney '36, of Madison, N. J„ manager, and Robert H. Weeks '37, of Lyons, N. Y„ assistant manager.
