This is a psychological investigation which disclosed that the more vivid the visual imagery on words meaning "fear," the more severely the stutterer stuttered. Mr. Voelker is also the author of An Investigation of Vibrato in Voices of the Deaf, which appears in the October 1935 issue of Speech Monographs.
