The Manchester, N. H., forum is in the news in a big way. It all came about because our Louis P. Benezet knows John W. Studebaker, U. S. Commissioner of Education. The Commissioner got a grant of PWA money to extend the Des Moines, lowa, forum idea to 2 other cities. Benny induced Studebaker to select Manchester as the one for the northeasterly section. Benezet got Pres. Hopkins to lend Prof. Malcolm Keir of the Department of Economics to Manchester to be the leader of the forum. On April 1 it had been in operation for six weeks and was an enthusiastic success. Benny is the administrator.

Jim Richardson and Louise sailed from Honolulu April 4 homeward bound. They arrived in Pasadena, Calif., April 11, and by the time this is printed will be at home.
Owen A. Hoban, "Hobe," was elected a delegate to the Republican National Convention from the 3 Mass. Congressional District. Hobe had opposition, but he won out.
