The Classes of 1917, 1918, 1919, 1920 joined forces to hold a very successful dinner at the New York Dartmouth Club on May 7. There was a combined attendance of forty, of which Seventeen supplied eight: Len Shea, Eddie Earle, Len Reade, Doc Wagner, George Gregory, Gene Towler, Sam Saline, Don Brooks. Following the dinner, each class contributed some form of entertainment, our able representative being Eddie Earle with his accordion, and also stories of his musical adventures during the war, particularly when he sang to King George. This dinner was an experiment, and was so well received that next year several regular events of this type will be planned.

On May 5, the Northern New Jersey Dartmouth Association held their annual dinner and frolic at the Essex County Country Club, where our shock-troops were much in evidence most of the evening— Koeniger, O'Neill, Hawley, Switzer, Towler, Earle, and Brooks. 'Tis reported that late in the evening the tables grew a little tall for some of the boys, but our correspondent (you guess) is so notably reliable in such matters that we won't repeat any names.

These lucky Bostonians who can run up to Hanover for all big and little excuses— for example, a card from Roger Stone: "Carol and I celebrated our 10th anniversary in Hanover two weeks ago. Weathercold but otherwise everything fine. Entered Bill in class of 1950. Best to you, Rog."

All good wishes and best of success go to Dr. Clarance W. (Fat) Spears in his new job as athletic director and football coach, University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio. Address: Tremainville Road, Toledo.

Changes of location furnished by the College: Karl L. Thielscher has left Philadelphia and now can be found c/o Graybar Electric Company, 77 Swan St., Buffalo, N. Y.; John W. Saladine—new address: Electrical Supplies, Inc., 320 Ann St., Hartford, Conn.; George Allison—Lincoln Ave., Winnetka, 111.; Norman E. McCulloch—Box 116, Pawtucket, R. I.; Charles F. Peters—Studebaker Sales Cos., 900 Commonwealth Ave., Boston; Alexander Brown—Box 77, Sacketts Harbor, N. Y.

This is our last word and almost your last chance to join the 1936 Alumni Fund! Remember that our drive last year raised the class percentage of contributors from 31% to 62%, and we must make further gains this year. At least send a dollar or two—that will help the class position and show a willingness to repay to some extent the debt we all owe the College. The income tax will get your money anyway, so give it to the Fund and deduct from the tax.

This is goodbye till October—and happy summer days to you all.

Secretary, Craig House, Beacon, N. Y.

We suggest that you turn to the College News section in this issue and read the announcement of plans for informal summer reunions at the Hanover Inn. If your vacation is not fully arranged, plan on three days or a week in Hanover.
