Following its spring trip and opening victory over Colgate, the Green lacrosse team engaged in eight contests which resulted in three victories and five defeats. Tommy Dent's stickmen defeated Williams, 5-4; Brown, 8-3; and M. I. T., 11-1; and lost to Union, 9-5; New Hampshire, 7-2; Yale, 11-5; Springfield, 7-1; and Harvard, 9-7, in the final game of the season. Dartmouth finished fifth in the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse League with three wins and four losses.

The Harvard encounter at Hanover on May 16 was perhaps the most exciting of the season, going to the Crimson ten in an overtime period. With only a minute to play, Captain Jake Shafer of Dartmouth ran the full length of the field to flip in the tying goal, but the Indians were unable to score during the overtime while Harvard counted twice. Harvard held a 5-2 lead at the half, but Dartmouth came back in the third quarter with four goals to the Cirmson's two, and then played a strong defensive game in the final quarter which saw Captain Shafer tie up the score.
