The 6oth anniversary of our graduation was celebrated at Commencement with littie pomp and splendor and not much hilarity but very pleasantly for those who were able to get together. The only formal gathering was a supper at the Inn, attended by four of the class—Adams, Deane, Gile, and the Secretary. Mrs. Gile was also present, and Miss Louise Whiting, granddaughter of Deane, who observed her 20th anniversary at Radcliffe this year. Both these ladies met with us for our 50th and 55 th, and now are an inseparable part of the class. Davis expected to be with us and had engaged a room, but illness prevented, and his death occurred not long after.
The Secretary has but lately discovered that a grandson of the class has been at Dartmouth for the past two years without recognition. Henry Moore Atwood of Wayzata, Minn., now a junior, is a grandson of Henry L. Moore.
William Bailey Hoyt and Nancy Gilman, both of Boston, were married at Chelsea, Vt., September 5. This event wins mention in the: class news from the fact that the bride is a granddaughter of the Secretary and the groom a grandson of William S. Bailey, who was with our class during freshman year. At the urgent request of the high contracting parties, the ceremony was performed by the bride's grandfather in his capacity as justice of the peace.
