First of all, dear friends, there are several weddings which have been solemnized since last you enjoyed the majestic sweep of our matchless prose.

The Kimball-H.ea.\y, Sprague-Hobbs and Goldthwait-Burnham nuptials, whose imminence was made known to you last spring, were performed with proper gusto and finesse at Weymouth, Mass., Walpole, N. H., and Brookline, Mass., respectively. Ushers at the first-named ceremony were Edgar L. Patch and the resourceful, if silent, coach at Mr. Kimball's rival school, Mr. John F. Donovan.

Several months ago we found JarveChapman idling among the harried plutocrats in the high income brackets at the Dunes Club in Narragansett Pier, with him was beauteous Eleanor Waterman, then his fiancee, now his wife. They were married on August twenty-eighth at Wickford, R. I. Jarve is with the United Carbon Cos. in Providence. He expressed a determination to be present at the Fifth Reunion of the class of 1933, which, by the way, will be held this June in Hanover, N. H.

Carl Hopkins was married during the summer in Hollis, N. H., to Helen Jeanette Goodwin. Carl, the report informs us, is a teacher of sociology at Tufts College.

Another wedding which has just come to our attention is that of Bob Fairbank on April 24, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio. His wife was Dorothy Tomkinson.

Mr. George Struble requests the honor of our presence at the marriage of his daughter, Carolyn Almira, to Mr. JohnLeggett Parker on the twenty-fifth of September at the Methodist Episcopal church, Cleves, Ohio.

A recent Boston Herald contained the following item: "Miss Constance Chase, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Chaseof Middleboro, will be married in the latesummer to Mr. Fred W. Janvrin of Brookline."

Herm Dudley, once one of Gen. Hugh Johnson's blue eaglets, has moved over to advertising evaluation with Townsend and Townsend at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York. He has also given up that Butterfield —8 telephone number.

Comes Gene Merkt of 3100 North Grand Boulevard, St. Louis, Mo., who deposes and says:

"I ran into Archie Lade last fall He is still in Portchester, N. Y., making nuts and bolts for Russell, Burdsall, and Ward. In March I passed through Cleveland and had a session with Herb Moatz at the University Club. He is still the banker, doing well, and on him the years rest lightly too I also hear that Wagner, McKee, and Schlesinger are doing well—Bill having recovered from his illness.

"Lapham is progressing mightily in the ranks of the legal profession, being now a big help to a firm in Riverhead, L. 1., so if you get any tickets in Suffolk County, you know where to go.

"I also have a word or two of Ned Hird, from whom I've received cards from India, Singapore, etc. I also ran into Ray Peck one evening at Bookbinder's in Philly. He's studying medicine at Hahnemann Hospital.

"Now a word about myself As you will notice from the address, I am now a Westerner. At the end of the year (academic) having picked up an M.8.A., I decided to shake the dust of the academic world from my skirts and quit the teaching business. So I reported for work at Proctor & Gamble's St. Louis establishment, or factory, to you. I'm learning how to make soap, so if you get some cakes that sink, you'll know what the trouble is."

Mr. and Mrs. Judson T. Pierson are all agog over the arrival on August 7 of Barbara Jean.

Lyle Spencer is now a fellow in sociology at the University of Chicago George Ingram is a cost accountant at 26 Broadway, N. Y., and lives at 169 Harrison Ave., Westfield, N. J TedOkie, who is already working on a costume for next June, is planning a home among the green fields of Darien, Conn., but until a flaw in the title to the broad acres is cleared up, he will be at 108 Bellevue Ave., Summit, N. J Forrie Branch has moved from Kimball Union and is now coaching at Hanover High School iVorm Payne now lives at 66 Pond St. and teaches at the Junior High School in Natick, Mass Erv Prince has brought his teaching genius back to dear, dear Hingham (Mass.), where he now may be found puzzling over his algebra at 118 South St Herb Shea is with the Bankers Trust Cos. at 16 Wall St., N. Y. C. and lives at 16 Buckingham Gardens Parkway, Maplewood, N. J.

We have already begun to work on the plans for Reunion. Several committees have been named and are already worrying their pretty little heads about costumes, dinners, etc. It will be a lot of fun. You'd better plan to be there.
