Several recent graduates whose major department was chemistry have achieved distinction in their academic field. William S. Emerson '32, who was duPont Fellow last year at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and who received his doctorate in chemistry there in June, is now at the University of Illinois on a post-doctorate duPont Fellowship.
Charles L. Fleming Jr. '35, a graduate student in organic chemistry at the University of Illinois, is duPont Fellow at that institution for 1937-38.
Charles L. Levesque '34 is Chemical Foundation Fellow in Organic Chemistry at the University of Illinois for this academic year.
Frank J. Glavis '35, a graduate student in organic chemistry at the University of Illinois, is a University Fellow there for 1937-38.
