Dean E. Gordon Bill '20h spent the week of November 15-20 at the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Va., making an appraisal of curriculum developments there in the past few years. When President John Stewart Byran was inaugurated at William and Mary in 1934 he invited Dean Bill to make a survey of the educational program and faculty of the college, and after a few years of successful development under many changes, several of which Dean Bill recommended, President Bryan again invited him to.visit Williamsburg to appraise the progress made. On October 22 Dean Bill spoke at a meeting of the Association of American Colleges, held at Vassar College, on the general subject of "The Survey Type of Course."
