We are in receipt of a long and interesting letter from Will Smith. Last year he took a trip around the world on the Ham- burg-American liner Reliance. This year he is enjoying himself at Palm Springs, Calif. Instead of being on the briny deep he is now located on what was once the ocean's bed—now a portion of the Colorado desert.

He was on his way to Honolulu via the Panama Canal when the marine strike came on and made it necessary for the Grace Line to put their passengers ashore at Ensanata, Mexico, and convey them by bus and train to Los Angeles.

Inability to sail from San Francisco made it necessary to change his plans—so he decided to come to Palm Springs, which he describes as a very delightful place, attractive on account of its invigorating climate, the pure air, and ever present golden sunshine. He appears to be in excellent health and spirits and expects to remain there until Easter. His address is Hotel The Oasis, Palm Springs, Calif.

Time for another letter from the rest of you classmates.
