A letter from Professor N. W. Sanborn formerly a department head with the University of Florida of Gainesville, Florida, but now retired received sometime ago, conveys the most welcome news that his health continues to show steady improvement from the severe illness that overtook him more than a year ago. He is out and around and drives his car at least three times a week to town to attend to occasional business and keeps up his interest in the daily happenings around him and is still able to get a good deal of enjoyment out of life.

He writes he greatly missed the customary seasonal visit with George Davison and wife of Chicago who have usually remained a few days with them while on their return from their winter's sojourn in the South, but who this year, were obliged to forego that pleasure owing to illness.

The Professor has a daughter and several grandchildren, granddaughters and grandsons living with the family at Gainsville, whose association and companionship contributes greatly to his convalescence. He hopes to report complete recovery soon and is loud in his praise of the treatment accorded by the University of Florida to its retired heads of departments.

The recent death of our highly esteemed classmate Dr. Sam King leaves a sad gap in our ranks. Dr. Sam was our Class Agent and the position is still unfilled.

In view of our greatly depleted numbers, we cannot hope to make as good a showing as heretofore, but it is to be hoped that classmates will keep in mind that this is "Hoppy's" 25th Anniversary as our President and will send as liberal a contribution as possible and as early as possible direct to the "Ernest Martin Hopkins' 25th Anniversary Campaign Fund" at Hanover, as a tribute to his twenty-five years of unexcelled service.
