Henry W. Ekstrom '30, accountant of Concord, N. H., was retained by the College early in February to make a special study of fraternity financial problems. On the basis of the study which he is to make in association with the office of Davis Jackson '36, recently appointed College adviser to fraternities, it is expected that he will submit recommendations for a continuing organization to provide financial advice for the Dartmouth fraternity chapters.
Ekstrom has devoted the initial period of his survey to several fraternities representing varying conditions of organization and size in order to gain comprehensive data to clarify typical fraternity financial problems. He is an experienced accountant and financial consultant now working in partnership in Concord and formerly associated with Haskins and Sells of New York. While in College he was enrolled in Tuck School, was captain of the varsity golf team, and was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa.
