Group Plan

AT ITS annual Commencement meeting last June the Dartmouth Alumni Council went on record as endorsing the group subscription plan by which it is hoped eventually to bring the DARTMOUTH ALUMNI MAGAZINE to every graduate and interested non-graduate of the College. Officers of the MAGAZINE have been working on the plan during the past year, and to date 35 classes have already adopted the 100% group subscription arrangement for 1938-39.

The classes with 100% group subscriptions include 1871, 1874, 1876, 1878, 1881, 1884, 1888, 1894, 1898, 1899, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1905, 1906, 1907, 1909, 1910, 1911, 1912, 1913, 1914, 1918, 1919, 1920, 1921, 1925, 1928, 1929, 1930, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937, and 1938. The MAGAZINE had 6,326 subscribers last year, and under the newly developed group plan it is expected that the subscription list will approximate 9,000 for 1938-39.
