THE MONTH of November with us, as was probably the case with all Dartmouth Clubs, was an eventful one. For the first half, activity centered about the details of operating the first Rochester special to a Cornell-Dartmouth game. That it was a success was evidenced by the fact that the 250 passengers enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

The day of the Stanford game was chosen as an ideal one for a general gettogether. We had assumed, without any basis for it, that the game would be broadcast. About 30 members joyfully accepted Clark Weymouth's generous invitation to assemble at his home for beer, pretzels and a very excellent oyster stew. The disappointment at not hearing the description of the game was alleviated by being able to see the movies of the successful Harvard and Yale games. We were further treated to the colored films of the Cornell game which were taken by the Eastman Kodak Company. Covering practically the entire game these show what a real battle it was, far more than the cold statistics.
