JOHN P. ENGLISH, secretary of the class of 1916, has received the following report from Holmes Green 'l6, involving Far Eastern activities of three alumni at a recent reunion in Tokyo:

I was very happy to receive your letter. As I explained to you my trip to Japan wasa rather sudden journey. We were verybusy over there for thirty-three days andwhile we enjoyed the visit I lost plenty ofweight in the right places. It is very humidand very warm over there in the mid-summer.

I was accompanied by George Sealy ofGalveston, Texas, Princeton 'O7. We hadthe pleasure of having dinner with Takanaga Mitsui whose picture I am attach-ing. Takanaga is just the same, althoughhe has grown quite a flourishing mustache. Both he and Mrs. Mitsui and all his associates in the Mitsui interests were mostkind and considerate of us throughout ourstay in that very beautiful country. RussDurgin 'l5, was also with us quite a bit inthe beginning. He very kindly sent mesome pictures he made over three.
