Among the obituaries you will find a brief word about Hi Mirick. Some of you may not remember him as he was with us only through freshman year. He was a quiet, reserved, fellow—one of the most placid men I ever knew. As he and I both roomed at Mrs. Walter Chase's, I saw quite a bit of him. I never succeeded in getting any response to letters since I have been secretary.

You will be glad to know that I get the best of reports from Charley Noyes. He not only gets around town and enjoys drives, but runs the car himself for short distances.

Gaf Salinger has gone air-minded. Early in October he flew to Los Angeles and back and says it was a most enjoyable experience. He left Boston on Sunday at 3:30 and breakfasted in Los Angeles. He had a good visit with his mother who, he reports, is in good health. Gaf, by the way, is the only '92 man I have discovered as yet who went to the Dartmouth-Harvard game. Yes, he enjoyed it.
