Joan Avery is spending the winter at Loch Haven, Meredith, N. H., as ski instructor.

Wallie Ross's daughter has been elected vice president of the senior class of Mt. Holyoke.

Randy Simpson has written us two nice letters recently, largely about the Stanford-Dartmouth game, which he attended together with Cap Kelly, Sawny Reagan, Gene Stark, and Max Bonter, which makes a strong class delegation from every angle. Randy is our star metallurgist from South Portland, Oregon; Sawny is a vice president of the Pacific Tel. & Tel. Co.; Gene is the Riverside Finance Company of Riverside, Cal.; Cap is director of labor and industry of the state of Washington and a former president of the Rocky Mountain Alumni Association, and Max, last but not least, is the class expert on ladies' stockings, claimants to the contrary notwithstanding.

L. C. Chase, Marion, and six-year-old L. C. Jr. made a rather complete tour of the United States this past summer, and we are trying to get him to write up an account of some of his experiences.

Roy Abbott Jr. is in Freiburg, Germany, working for a Ph.D. degree, while Brian is studying accounting and finance in Boston, leaving Roy, Muriel, and daughter, Mona, carrying on by themselves in Asheville, N. C.

We received a brief note from the Hon. Ted Bailey, eminent attorney of Sioux Falls, S. D., positively guaranteeing his appearance in Hanover next June, but containing no further information.

Walter Lane, of Johnstown, Pa., a darned good chemist with the Bethlehem Steel Co., expects to be with us also and is another one of our "over-subscribers."

Art Sporborg, the Miami beach realtor, makes affidavit that he reads the '09 notes regularly and expects to be back if values of Florida real estate continue upward in trend.

Better than half of the members of the class have paid their class dues of $3.50 (which includes $2.50 for the MAGAZINE), but we have still to hear from the rest. The money is due and payable, and we'd appreciate prompt receipt from those who are still in default.

The list of those who are already scheduled to attend next June grows ever larger. We are already certain of having a good turnout, one of the best ever. Better get aboard the wagon early. Last time the college had to park some of the crowd in outlying dormitories because there wasn't room in the dormitory assigned to us on the basis of advance reservations.

P. S.-We have our 30th reunion next June. Don't forget! We note the following change of address:

Nathaniel J. Howland, 10 Holder Place, Forest Hills, N. Y.

Secretary, Room 922, 10 Post Office Sq., Boston
