GORDON BRIDGE '24 of Washington, D. C., took over the new post of Assistant to the Treasurer of the College at the start of the second semester. Announcement of his appointment was made by Halsey C. Edgerton '06, treasurer, a few days before Mr. Bridge arrived with his wife and two children to make his new home in Hanover.
To join the College financial staff Mr. Bridge left his position with the Home Insulation Company of Washington, with which he had been associated since 1937. During the greater part of the time since his graduation Mr. Bridge was with the Eastern Tablet Company of Albany, N. Y., serving as secretary-treasurer. He has also been employed by the Western Electric Company and the Independent Paper Mills of Plattsburg, N. Y., in the latter case as assistant treasurer. He was formerly president of the Albany chapter of the Na- tional Association of Cost Accountants.
Mr. Bridge is a member of Chi Phi fraternity and as an undergraduate was active in The Arts. He has two brothers in College at the present time, Donald G. Bridge 'aq and Douglas P. Bridge '4l, both of Albany, N. Y.
