SEVENTY six ALUMNI and guests attended the annual banquet of the Club held this year at the Detroit Boat Club, Feb. 24th. Sid Hayward was guest of honor, and by his presence, enabled the class of '26 to take the trophy for largest attendance.

In the annual election, Jim (No Trump) Bear '19 was elected president; Bob Edgar '26, vice-pres.; Dick Brown '29, sectreas.; and Dave Williams '35, asst. sectreas. For three year terms on the executive committee, Ike Maynard '05 and Ford Whelden '25 were chosen.

In the competition for the Dartmouth Cup two high schools—Cooley and Northeastern—tied. Replicas were presented to Northwestern, Southwestern, Hamtramck, Central, and Northern—all past winners.

Interest among the younger men is being stimulated by informal gatherings at the homes of various alumni. Dartmouth night was celebrated at Ford Whelden's, and March 30th Dick Brown repeated with an open house for the classes of '29 through '38.

When in Detroit remember our weekly luncheon Tuesdays at the Savoyard Club atop the Buhl Building. Attendance is setting a new record.
