MORE THAN 50 graduates of Dartmouth College who reside in Lynn, Swampscott, Marblehead and Nahant, met at the Oxford club, Tuesday night and formed a Dartmouth club for the North Shore district.
Richard J. White Jr. '14 was elected the club's first president. Other officers include: Edward D. Loveday '37, and William E. Carter Jr. '22, vice presidents, Roger W. Pope '20, treasurer, and Edward R. Butterworth '30, secretary; Laurence H. Bankhart '10; Frederick W. Spearin '17, Earle N. Downing '15, and Roland Booma '30, executive committee.
The committee announced there will be a dinner get-together at a date to be announced, early in May. While no official name has yet been given to the club, it was believed it would be named the North Shore Dartmouth club.
