Lt. Steve Katz just arrived in the middle of Kansas for his new assignment. He's a SAC tanker navigator doing air refueling. One of the pilots in his squadron is Capt. Bob Berg of the Dartmouth ROTC Detachment 1955-57. Recently, on weekend leave, he ran into Ted and Sally Briggs in D.C. Ted holds down the El Salvador desk in the State Department. "It's a small country but there are those who love it."

Lee Smith, a newlywed of just a short time, pens in from Imperial Beach, Calif. He's now living just west of the "Southwestern-most bar in the United States." Yet, the high tides at this time of year are threatening to wash out his front doorstep.

Chick and Anne Carlson live a hop, skip, and jump from Lee in Coronado. Al Peyser is also in this general area - sporting a few of the local beauties. Oh yes, Chick and Anne Carlson have a dog by the name of Magoo who's loaded with character but hates men.

Twik Maca is on his way to help NATA via the paratroops. Lew Dail is already on hand over there playing golf with the generals.

Walt Smith is punching an IBM in San Antonio with the Army, tennis taking up most of the hours.

Ted Sheridan, caught by the recent extra time kick to be a pilot, signed and is said to be located via Corpus Christi. Pete Shipman has left the Washington, D. C., area and is off with the "gyrens" for the Middle East at last reports.

Ken Geary began a sixteen-month tour of duty in Korea on October 10. His address reads: 2nd Lt. Ken A. Geary Jr. 04064752, Hq. and Hq. Co., 2nd Battle Group, 34th Infantry, APO 7, San Francisco, Calif.

Navy Ensign Dick Wallace had his Wings of Gold pinned on by his wife, the former Miss Marilyn J. Morse.

Bob MacKay has just been made a trustee of the New Hampton School for Boys, New Hampton, N. H. Bob is now serving his tour of duty as an intelligence officer in the 71st Bomber Tactical Wing, located in France.

Dick Gordon recently gave the diamond to Miss Nancy Helfand. He is now studying for his doctorate in Economics at M.I.T.

Sam Purvis wed Anne Granducci. The groom graduated from the U. S. Naval Academy last June. John Crowley also joins the soon-to-be status. His bride-to-be is Miss Beth Ann McCarty. At present Lt. Crowley is stationed at Camp Pendleton Marine Base in California.

On December 22, Alan Sklar and Miss Nancy Fisk became Mr. and Mrs. Both are studying dramatics, music and dancing in New York studios.

Alan Welty recently was promoted to specialist third class while assigned as a personnel clerk in the 178th Ordinance Co., at Fort Bragg, N. C. He was a management trainee with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., New York City, before entering the Army.

Lt. Tom Curless is now stationed in Dayton, Ohio. Before this new assignment he took time out to marry Miss Bret Birney.

"Goose" Wetzel is now serving in the U.S. Navy after completing Officers Candidate School, Newport, R.I. His permanent assignment is aboard the U.S.S. William R. Rush (DDR 714), c/o FPO New York, N.Y. Let's skip around a bit and pick up all the left overs. Arnie Kroll is a student at Harvard Law School. Bill McNamara attends Cornell Law School, this being his 2nd year in his law studies. Bruce Benson is a student at Tufts University.
