Wendell L. Willkie can expect at least one vote from the ranks of 1916 this November. Fletcher R. Andrews '16, professor of law at Western Reserve University, accepted the chairmanship of the independent Willkie clubs of northern Ohio last month because he is convinced the Republican nominee "can do the best job of uilding up America's national defenses.

"In these times, the country most certainly needs as President a man who has had wide and successful experience as a busines executive. Aside from the defense program, I believe this country was developed by letting business develop, and therefore the party that is most likely to help business rather than hinder it is most likely to do the best job in the presidency."

Andrews, a World War veteran who has been active in Community Fund and other civic activities, will have his headquarters in Cleveland.
