A DARTMOUTH CLUB is being formed on Long Island. At a meeting at Bill Coulson's house on December 15 we got started with a group of 10. Mr. Horace (Jigger) Pender '97 was made temporary chairman, and Arthur B. Keleher '27, temporary secretary.
A meeting is planned for January 26 at the Garden City Hotel. At that time we hope to have at least 60 alumni present when we can organize properly. It looks like the real thing; our plans are to have an active group, with no dues, no overhead, no permanent meeting place, just a monthly meeting, an active affair to unify the Long Island group.
Letters are going out to all available names. No doubt we will ask official College recognition. Please help us get started by announcing this in the ALUMNI MAGAZINE. I know I'll probably not reach all the alumni on Long Island, and if they know of the meeting on January 26 they will come around. See you there!
