The Class Dinner at the Dartmouth Club, 30 E. 37th St., New York, on Friday, January 26th, with the showing of Reunion movies, was a merry affair. We were honored and entertained in several ways:

Ist Phil Bird came on from Boston-Ray Adams was down from Springfield, Vt.—and Dan Featherston brought the latest political news from Asbury Park, N. J. Dan had just returned from a Medical Convention in Chicago, where he had dinner with a mutual friend of Celce and Russell. (This has nothing to do with the New York dinner but this seemed to be a good place to mention it.)

2nd Seven loyal Dartmouth wives were there. Six of the seven attended the 20th and knew better than some of the men what the Reunion movies were about. The ladies present were Mrs. Batchelder, Bird, Blanpied, Bresnahan, Martin, Parsons and Treat.

3rd Bresnahan's professional photographer took a series of shots, one of which is reproduced in this column. The Maestro at the piano is Martin playing the score of his latest Alumni Fund melody. Others in the picture, from left to right, are Featherston, Jackson, Garrison, Bresnahan, Blanpied, Batchelder, Moriarty, Treat,' Jack Clark, Dudensing, Ray AdamS; Parsons and Miridjanian. Vaughn Little and Phil Bird had left before the picture was taken.

Ah Movies of the 20th and 15th were shown. Jackson prefers the isth-he is in them-and intimates he might like pictures of the 10th even better.

This brings up an important historical point. Your Secretary is the custodian and lender-outer of movies of the 15th and 20th. If anyone has pictures, movies or stills of previous Reunions, and is willing to have duplicates made for showings at Class functions, I suggest you send them to me so that our Class records pictorially may be inclusive.

In addition to those attending the Dinner, other lgers have been heard about in New York recently. Freddy McCrea was here for a few days, got the Flu and was taken to St. Lukes where he just missed pneumonia. Left town as soon as he got out of the hospital.

Carl A. Babcock was in town for the Thayer School Dinner. He has moved to E. Cleveland,, at 1183 E. 125 th St.

Bill Eddy spoke at the luncheon of the Rotary Club of New York on Thursday, January 25th. (Ray Adams was there.) Fellow Rotarians will be interested to know that San Treat is Chairman of the Boys Work Committee of the Rotary Club of New York Dr. Harwood L. Childs is the author of Characteristics of the NaziPropaganda Campaign which appears in PROPAGANDA! THE WAR FOR MEN'S MINDS. Siegbert is a member of the 1940 nominating committee of the New York Stock Exchange At the recent series of meetings of Various Eastern inter-collegiate athletic organizations at the central office in New York, McCarter was reelected President of the Eastern Inter-collegiate Football Ass'n. A letter came in recently from Kenneth H. Knowlton whose business is management and sale of farms in 6 or 7 States and Ontario, Canada, with offices at Freeport, I11. His home address is Cedarville, I11., about 5 miles north of Freeport. In 1922 he married Asenath Dorsey and they have two sons, 8 and 15. Here is a direct quotation from Ken's letter:

"I live in the house where Jane Addams was born. The house is about 90 years old, which is age for this part of the world. I have been pestered by social workers and sundry similar, who come to see the 'shrine.' Finally stopped the pestering by hanging a sign on the door, '25c admission,' since then I have lived in peace. (Dartmouth graduates can get in free by applying at office for card of admission.)"

We hear two stories about Ingraham— one that he is threatening to move to New England and the other that he is heading back to the Pacific Coast in about a month.
