Y. again suntanned, weather-beaten, up 10 lbs. and rearing with excitement over '18 topping the pile FOR RED WILSON who's ably guiding 'lB destinies this year into the stratosphere and a new high.... and to Miss Stevens (Reds' Sec't.) who's taken the rap on the Underwood to the tune of 167 personal letters. Spare them boysthey work and give—we only give.

SWELL PEERADE ALL ON THE CUFF—As this is written, the wife and myself are billeted at the Hanover Inn (expense a/c for one) it's the annual 2-day meeting of all class sect's). Had a delightful luncheon this noon at the Hanover Inn (on the college)— .... Dean Gordon Bill (adopted 'iger) gave a masterful talk. This afternoon, tea and reception at Hoppy's home —tonight, the wind-up dinner. Enjoyed this week-end in Hanover with AL and Beckie GOTTSCHALDT. (AL made a masterful talk before the assembled secretaries on advertising possibilities for Dartmouth men in the AL MAG.) Doc ROLFE SYVERTSON (Sec'y of Medical Ass'n.) sprinted 100 yards in nearly 10 flat. STUMPIE Barr looked fit as a fiddle (Ethel does all the gardening) and it was grand to see BUD FROST looking rugged and healthy and coming back strong.

COMES FOOTBALL SEASON THIS FALL—WHOWANTS TO THROW A PARTY?—After the Yale game, Oct. 19th at New Haven? After the Harvard game Oct. 26 at Cambridge? After the Princeton game Nov. 9th—after the Cornell game in Hanover Nov. 16? Who's stepping up to the plate? What's more than a football game and a party! The sooner our social calender is made up the better can '18 plan a rollicking time of it comes the first kick-off.
