ADVANCE RESERVATIONS for the fourth annual session of Hanover Holiday indicate that attendance at the alumni college lectures, June 17 to 21, will be the heaviest since the program was inaugurated in 1937. Average attendance has grown from 22 in 1937 to 85 in 1939, and this year the committee, under the chairmanship of Prof. Herbert W. Hill, fully expects that the average attendance will surpass 100.
A tuition fee of $5.00 will cover the nine morning and evening lectures to be delivered by members of the Dartmouth faculty. Current topics in the field of economics, political science, history, literature, music, mathematics, art, and economic geography will be covered. President Hopkins will inaugurate the series with a brief introductory talk on Monday evening, June 17, and a dance at the Hanover Inn on Friday night, June 21, will close the week's program.
