AT THE RECENT annual meeting of the Dartmouth Alumni Association here in Manchester, it was unanimously decided to enter Robert P. Booth '22 as candidate for Alumni Councilor at the forthcoming election.

Because it has been more than twenty years since a southern New Hampshire alumnus has served on the Council, the Manchester alumni feel that Bob Booth will attract considerable support among the alumni in the District.

Bob is a practicing lawyer here in Manchester and among his partners are these Dartmouth men: William J. Starr 'B4, Winthrop Wadleigh '23, and Ralph E. Langdell '2B. In Manchester civic affairs he has served as president of the local chapter of the Red Cross, the Y. M. C. A., and the Manchester Council of Social Agencies.

Ever since graduation he has been closely connected with Dartmouth affairs. From 1922 to 1924 he was an instructor in economics at Dartmouth. From 1923 to 1925 he served as assistant to President Hopkins and as executive secretary of the Alumni Fund. He has served on his class Alumni Fund committee since ig2g, and under his leadership as head agent since 1933, the class of 1922 has made a rather outstanding Fund record.
