As USUAL THE annual meeting of the Dartmouth alumni here was largely attended by winter residents, most of whom belonged to the earlier classes. In the afternoon of February 28 Mrs. Edwin B. Frost entertained at a tea in her home, and in the evening about 65 alumni, wives and guests dined together at the Shrine Club. Professor Elmer E. Smead gave an interesting off the record talk about the present state of mind of the administration, faculty and student body in regard to current movements. Arthur A. Bacon '97 told of the educational work of the American University at Beirut, Syria, and the contributing influence of many Dartmouth men. Several reels of sound movies were shown illustrating the technique of skiing. The following officers were elected: president, Fred C. Cleaveland '95; vice president, Glen C. Gould '16; secretary-treasurer, Carrol E. Hill '20.
