Declared fit Supreme Court material because of his comparative youth and general ability, Amos N. Blandin Jr. 'lB, Concord, N. H., attorney, was boosted to an Associate Justice of the Superior Court by Governor Robert O. Blood 'l3m in March. A native of Bath in northern Grafton County, Mr. Blandin plans to leave Concord and return to his birthplace to live.

Said Governor Blood in making the nomination: "I believe that actual experience as a trial attorney in the Superior Court is an excellent training for a judge of that Court, and equally that sitting as a Judge in in the Superior Court would be a great asset to a Supreme Court Judge. In the search for a candidate who meets these qualifications, I wish to recommend a native of north Grafton County who will became a permanent resident of his native town.

"He has had wide experience in the trial of cases, has sound common sense, splendid legal ability, unquestionable

integrity, and a fine personality, and is held in high esteem by the legal profession. With twentysix years before the legal retirement age, he will, I am sure, have a record in our Courts of which the state can justly be proud, and add one more name to the illustrious men who have served the Courts of this state."
