Ground Training Course

THE Committee on Defense Instruction has recently approved the offering of Aeronautical Ground Training la, a course including study of subjects basic to aviation training. It was given, heretofore, only for students taking the Civilian Pilot Training program, as a required course, but beginning in January it will be open, also, to other undergraduates who may be eligible for the air services.

The course includes such study of Civil Air Regulations, Meteorology, and Navigation as is required by the armed services in the preliminary training of flying cadets, and is recommended to would-be fliers and to students who expect to teach sciences in secondary schools.
