At a tea held at the Tedesco Country Club on December 20th, George Knight announced the engagement of his daughter Barbara to Roger F. Buffinton, Dartmouth '38 of Lynn. George's son-in-law to be is also with the United Shoe Machinery Corp. In January, George took a business trip through the south and missed the Alumni Dinner.

The representation at the Boston Dinner was of exceedingly high quality, if not quantity: Major Shepard, John Joseph Scarry, Jack Nelson, Harold McAllister, Frank Cushman, Pop Warren, Tubby Merrill, Bill Davis, Dean Munsey, Charlie Archer and Wilkins John Joseph has purchased a seventeen-acre farm in Ashland, Mass. although he continues his chain of bookstores. He will have goats, pigs, hens and any other animals he wants, and is to raise mushrooms. He will sit on top of his hill and watch Boston in one direction and Worcester in the other.

Herman Parkinson has moved to 184 Longview Ave. at White Plains, N. Y.

Jay Runkle is with Crowley, Milner & Co., department store, in Detroit, Mich. and lives at 10240 LaSalle Blvd Rockie Edwards has a new business address at 120 So. LaSalle St. in Chicago.
