DARTMOUTH COLLEGE IS cooperating with the Hanover War Savings Bond Committee by making available to the College group a payroll deduction method of purchasing bonds. A large percentage of the faculty and other College employees have adopted this plan, which went into effect on April 1, and the Dartmouth committee, headed by Donald L. Barr '18, is out for 100% participation.
Mr. Barr's committee includes Ellen F. Adams, Dean E. Gordon Bill, Prof. Robert J. Delahanty, Robert D. Funkhouser Jr. '27, Ora Grant, Donald S. Smith, and Prof. G. Walter Woodworth.
General chairman of the Hanover com- mittee is Kenneth W. Foley '24, president of the Dartmouth Printing Company. In recognition of the War Bond record made by the College community, a series of WMUR broadcasts from New Hampshire cities and towns opened at Hanover on Monday evening, April 20. The Dart- mouth Glee Club participated in the pro- gram, and among the speakers were Prof. Chauncey N. Allen '24 and William J. Mitchel Jr. '42, who described the War Stamp drive which Green Key is conduct- ing among Dartmouth undergraduates.
Part of the proceeds of the Green Key Prom on April 11 have been put into War Bonds in connection with the undergradu- ate campaign.
