Bouton speaks hearty approval o£ the prayer half-hidden on the cover of the August Magazine, and particularly of its being spread in enduring bronze on the doorpost of Dartmouth Hall, like the Passover token on the sidepost and lintel of ancient Israel's doorway .... Parkhurst, feeling pretty tired after the cold raw winter ended, took a week off at Hanover. After arriving there it occurred to him that this was our reunion year, so he decided to hold a reunion all by himself, visiting the people we would have visited had we been with him, telling them all he could about the rest of us, and having a very pleasant few days as each of us would have had, had we had been there; then reporting to us on his return. One of his acts while there was not included in his report, but we assume that it was done in his representative capacity, and have unanimously ratified it along with his other reunion doings. He seized the occasion to add 150 per cent to his previous contribution to the Alumni Fund, boosting the class gift above that of any other class prior to 1884. Selah!

Parkinson has attained the dignity of great-grandfather. Graeme Dwight Parkinson, son of Dwight '3B, grandson of Dana 'OB, is expected to graduate in 1963, so his reunions will coincide with those of father, grandfather, grand-uncle, and great-grandfather. His launching is sponsored by four grand- and six great-grandparents. Isn't that a record outfit of living ancestors?

Tarbell went in early June to his old home in Watertown, S. D., making it the center of a family home-coming. He is probably back by now at his winter quarters in West Allis, Wise.
